SDG Action Talk: What is the True Price of your favorite products
Everything you buy leaves traces. What you wear in the morning, the coffee or tea you drink, the banana you eat, your lipstick. There are always natural and social costs involved. Examples of social costs are extremely low wages or an unsafe working environment. Natural costs include air or water pollution and climate change. People and nature ultimately pay the price for this. But this price is not included in the price tag at most stores.
In this session on Thursday 29 October 10:00-11:30am, hosted by SDG Nederland, Michel Scholte (director of True Price) takes you on a journey into the wonderful world of the (real) price of our products.
