Intersectionality in Ocean Conservation: Importance & Challenges
The ocean is in crisis. Protecting the ocean has gained traction over the years (most notably through awareness around plastic pollution). However to really bring about positive change for the ocean, we need all hands on deck. At the moment the narrative around ocean protection is very dated and doesn't recognise the need for a different, long lasting, intersectional approach. Specifically the purpose of this roundabout is to explain the challenges we face in shifting mindsets, and to get input on how we might be more successful. Love the ocean? Join us!
