20+ national Social Enterprise networks and research institutions officially launched the inaugural European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) survey this year. The survey is based on national monitors successfully performed by Social Enterprise UK, Social Enterprise NL and Social Enterprise Network Germany SEND e.V. the past 14 years.
In this session at ImpactFest we will:
1. Share and discuss with you in-depth insights, lessons learned and barriers for Social Entrepreneurship gained from the bottom-up data collected for national Social Entrepreneurship Monitors the past years;
2. Share how this in-depth data on social enterprise and start-ups has led and will continue to lead to important changes in policymaking, investment decision-making, increased visibility and understanding of the social enterprise model and its contribution to social innovation and the UN SDGs.
