Living Lab Scheveningen is a unique project in which the public space of the City of the Hague is used as an urban scale-up environment. The project combines the possibilities of digitalization with solving societal challenges, in order to contribute to a sustainable, safe and pleasant living environment. The infrastructure that is being developed is connected to objects in the public space, such as street lights and kiosks. These objects can contain equipment such as sensors and camera’s. Through interviews with private parties, local businesses and governmental departments, a set of nearly 150 unique potential Use Cases was defined. About a dozen of those Use Cases are currently in development.
In this webinar, we will introduce Living Lab Scheveningen and we would like to interact with the audience to hear their perspective on both the opportunities of using such a Living Lab as well as the requirements or conditions that would need to be satisfied in order to make use of the Living Lab.
