“Working digitally has created opportunities for reimaging work. Geographic boundaries disappear, and the working day contains more flexibility. The price of these opportunities is a lack of personal connection. We are spending more time working than before, but less time than before really with other people. Seeing people is important for creativity, inspiration, and non-verbal communication.
As important as it is for people to discuss how they are feeling, colleagues are also finding new ways to socialize and re-introduce some normalcy into their day. Together, we will explore some ways in which meeting (new) colleagues and partners can be re-invented to stay equally connected while social distancing. We will explore innovative ways in which our social needs can be satisfied and new work rituals created in a fun way.”
